Use the following shortcode examples to manually insert a Foundation 6 Reveal modal.

Shortcode Attributes

[f6_reveal] has eight possible attributes:

  • id="anyUniqueID" – Unique ID, can be anything as long as its unique. Used to open the modal on element click.
  • size="default" – tiny, small, default, large, full: Size of the modal. Reveal Size Reference
  • overlay="true" – true or false: Show or hide the overlay whent he modal opens. Reveal Overlay Reference
  • in="none" – Open modal Animation, many options. See the reference. Reveal Animation Reference
  • out="none" – Open modal Animation, many options. See the reference. Reveal Animation Reference
  • open-button="true" – This will include a button on the frontend in the location of this shortcode that will open the modal on click. If not used you must apply data-open=”uniqueIDfromAbove” to an element to open the modal on click.
  • button-text="Any Text" – Enter the text to be displayed on the modal open button.
  • custom-class="anyClassName" – Enter any class name you want, or leave blank.
